The new Promaster has supposedly greatly improved the driving position and comfort. The Promaster engine was supposedly updated in 2016 model. They advertise the transmission as a nine speed, however, from what I have read, gears eight and nine are electronically locked out. The transmission is used in other vehicles where those gears are not locked out. The leaky cowl dripping onto electronics and rusting bolts has supposedly been addressed.

The green with black stripe is the positive. Can I use either 2 black wires for negative?

Why are people having issues with this OEM GENUINE PCV valve totally snapping in half when installing them with no where near the recommended foot pounds? Makes want to get a aftermarket one.

And don't forget the resistance, the real one is between 4 and 7 KOMS, but the resistance of fake one is off the scale sometimes reaches 40 KOMS, meaning that big residence will cause damage to coils, or to the whole distributor the fake spark plug definitely sooner or later will cause a big engine damage, because they said they break and fall apart inside the engine cylinder, because the fake can handle the heat and pressure very long time, whereas the good or real one whether NGK or bosh or Denso, they stay intact till the end of their life.

Hands down the best channel I have found for doing a campervan conversion. All these other channels show a quick time lapse of how these people did their vans but very few people actually show you how to do it. Great job, man!

try using 0W-10 motor oil and fill motor oil to the fullest point of the dip stick allowable. This will allow oil to up to the VCT moving parts as soon as the engine is cranked initially, hence reduce the Grinding duration from the usual 3-4 seconds during Start UP down to 1-2 seconds Every bid counts. Good luck....

Anyone know if the blower motor resistor will cause the ac clutch to not work too? Blower and clutch aren’t turning on!!??

If you look about 1 inch back from where you attach the spring to the tensioner, there is a square hole for a 3/8 inch ratchet for easy belt removal/installation.

I can not thank you enough for this video. I watched your video before taking my 2018 2500 Promaster to my regular mechanic. It needed brakes, sticker and I asked him to listen to the van van screaming every 15 seconds. I started to tell him what I thought it was (your fix). Before I could get it out of my mouth, he said it was the A/C that needed to be charged. That is what causes the fan to kick on high. Knowing this would not work, I went with it as the other work needed to be done. I picked up the van, and while we were talking, the van fan started screaming again, but he just ignored it. I said the only way to fix this is by doing it myself. So, I ordered the parts and fixed it. 100 percent was the problem for the entire time. I ended up taking apart a lot of the front end due to not being able to get the screw out, but that was no big deal.

Does anyone here know, what the i.d. of that upper suction hose is? Long story, but I need one for a custom build application, and this one looks just about right.

I have a 2002 Honda crv and the valve is a plastic one 17310PNA003 … I haven’t be able to find that part online !!! Is this a replacement part for the plastic one ? They have different sizes

I completed the conversion to the HID lights, no real issues. Video helped a lot. Thanks. I seem to recall when looking at this project that a listing of suggested LED replacement bulbs for the turn signals and side markers (ones that come on with high beams). I really dislike the mismatch of color when on high beams. I am unable to find that info now. Can you assist. Thanks

2014 AWD here. 265k miles and going strong. I got a little transmission shaking at 65k and I just change the trans fluid every 60k and all is good. The only other major repair is the shocks all around but that is expected.
